The core is rising first. I haven't seen that with this tower. I didn't know what was going on when I seen it in person.

The core poking above the downtown plateau


The storm clouds approaching One World Trade Center and lower Manhattan like a giant wave this afternoon. It was one of the most dramatic and yet beautiful storm scenes in Manhattan I've witnessed so far. by javansg, on Flickr

Looks like steel isn't that far behind! I'm guessing that steel will be topped out by October or November. But it looks like the glass is kinda sluggish

glass is definitely having problems. steel and concrete have been off critical path for a while.

october sounds right for steel done and cranes coming off the building.
