So these fins are higher than the core right?

Yes. It is assumed that the core and roof reach 1080' and the fins/parapet will reach 1170'.

It's looking more and more like the fins reach 1080' which is what we've suspected for a while. When you see the building from a side angle you'll see, it's hard to tell in that picture.

You are right, it looks like that the fins will not exceed the concrete core in height.

Well if they at least aren't lower.
Not that you are able to see the core from a distance or something.

From this angle, the fins definitely add some noticeable height. I hope they light them along with the 2 mech floors below.

Great pictures, especially ones from Jersey. We still need 2 WTC to fill in the gap. It becomes more obvious actually now that 3WTC is up. Build either version of 2 WTC, but just get it built.

The sad part is. 2 WTC which is stuck in limbo has the best original design of them all.

Grabbed this from SSP...this looks like the final height of 3WTC. Topped out, height wise?

Yes, the parapet extends over the top of the core as seen in this pic by ~8 feet.

Sorry about the height confusion. It seems the height was reduced in 2015 so instead of being ~1170 feet the tower was reduced to being 1079 feet. This height makes sense when comparing it to the nearby 977 foot tall 4 WTC. So, this means the parapet will reach 1079 feet and since it has been mostly installed this building can now be listed as T/O!!!

I think most of the realists on this thread accepted the 1079 figure a long time ago.

When i'm thinking about all of this changes it's quite sad. At first the height drop, from something about 380m for spires and 360m for roof to 356m with spires.... End they removed that awesome 'X' shape beams... And finally spires was removed :/
