The decision to continue building upwards will be decided by next May at the latest. If they have an anchor tenant lined up, then it'll continue. This tower should reach street level well before then. But there will be a lot of internal fitting out in the meantime. I remember once 4WTC made it to street level, it didn't go higher for many months while work continued below. I expect kind of the same thing.

Amazing that this one is already at the B2 level. Super fast!

So if both towers get an anchor tenant and don't have to worry about financing and whatnot, would Tower 2 or Tower 3 reach it's full height first? It should be an interesting race ^.^

Very easy to notice, that this will be a jumpform concrete core.

So which one is cheaper, 3WTC or 2WTC? 2WTC's larger but I heared rumors that it might be cheaper, are these rumors true?

Since the recent design changes were because of the cost, I doubt that the public knows right numbers at the time..

Silverstein has said 3WTC is about $250 million cheaper than 2WTC. I can only make a wild guess as to what the cross bracing saves... maybe $50 million? Who knows.

Tower 3 design screams, build me because I'm cheap as hell. At less compared to tower 2.

And since these aren't condos or hotels, the inside doesn't have to be all that great.

There's no such thing as cheap skyscrapers in NYC, especially regarding the new WTC.

Three huge blue tanks were delivered and put in the void close to Greenwich Street. Anybody knows what they (will) contain? Simply water?
