You want me to look the info up for you but that isn't going to happen. You can find it just as easy as I can.

What because the picture of that tower was on the WTC site?? They still use the 2005 version of 1WTC in many of their official renderings! I won't believe it till there is much more concrete evidence.

It say its going to be 1,170 feet. Now that might be the roof height. You'll have to check the first page to find out.

That's what I'm saying, everyone seems to be so certain the building shrank but no one has any proof.

If you actually think the twin towers are getting built again the way they were you might be really stupid.

On the WTC site they won't, but one day they could be built the way they were on another site in NY or in another US city (I hope Phoenix).

Count the floors yourself. They removed two mechanical floors just above the podium, and took the top office floor and redistributed over the height of the building. One 13'6" office floor, plus two 25+ foot plant floors equals more than 60 feet. Unless you can account for the missing building, something has to give.

Fortunately, wtc.com, the official site gives a number that works perfectly with the new design:
Quote:
, 3 World Trade Center at 175 Greenwich Street will rise 1,170 ft feet above street level.
SOURCE

Go ahead, count them. Let me know if I missed something.

5WTC is still up in the air. Something will get built there, but the city wants a mixed-use tower, while the PA wants all office space. The city doesn't really have any authority to tell another government agency to do something, so unless the city wants to make a big political stink, the PA can go ahead with its own plans.

However, I wouldn't expect any construction on the site until at least 2020.

I fear this height reduction puts 3WTC into the cathegory of 4WTC and 7WTC a.k.a. buildings that nobody will notice and that everybody will ignore
