Steel bracing is definitely it's saving grace.

Doesn't help that a more "boxy" Building is planned next door.

Despite the design downgrades, the finishes of the complex are top notch. Let's hope for Foster's 2, and see how amazingly built it will be.

OT: I really liking the white radome on 1's spire, it gives it some mass and shine

Obviously, no matter the massing, cladding, details etc, without spires a building is a boring box.

the parapet doesnt seem to do a good job at obscuring the rooftop equipment.

If I understand correctly, the backside of the Parapet Glass is to receive an opaque coating. Can someone confirm this?

I highly doubt that. They would have applied that coating in the factory and not in the field.

The parapet is horrible. The North and South sides are meh. The East and West sides with the flat glass and crossbracing are awesome!!
