I Think it's a big Chance...that wtc2 isn't yet built...so the can perhaps building in a few years a new megatall 1000m + that gives new Impulses to the wohle enviroment...and could be a Symbol of the start in a brighter future of the US...besides it would be a Horror for me, if the wtc1 would be in the future just one Tower of 400m + between several megtalls 1000m+...the Change is coming...one day.
The underground part of the building is already built so nothing can be done about 2WTC other than shorten it. Hopefuly, Larry won't do that

A rendering of proposed security measures near the World Trade Center site that residents call onerous.

quit posting that everywhere, its not related to the individual buildings themselves.

Quote:
Pedestrians and bicyclists would be free to come and go, the police said, “although cyclists may be required to dismount to walk their bicycles through security stations.”
if you're annoyed by this, don't drive a car through the world trade center "campus". If you must, register yourself as a "trusted person". Those terms make me cringe a little, but it's the world we live in today.

Those traffic stops are just sad. They make it look like the terrorists won.

You make it sound like they didn't... We may have rebuilt and come back, but because of those *******s, we lost a chunk of our freedom and right as individuals for the namesake of security.

Have any of you walked around Wall Street ? It's the same security infrastructure and it doesn't deter foot traffic at all

Much ado about nothing...much like the spire, the base, etc.

It's also an ugly mess. I don't think the WTC needs to look like that.

2 WTC should be nicknamed, "The Diamond of New York City."

Those diagrams are very, very interesting. I may use them for an updated 2WTC drawing/diagram.

Just stunning, its like a girl's dream tower I'm sure. Classy with just the right amount of glitz/bling to entice the women of high taste.

It isn't making the waiting any better.

yea... sorry for that. sometimes when you think about a certain thing, it comes into fruition (sooner). At least for me it works that way and that would benefit us all.

The currently used drawing in the SSP diagrams has an awful angle. Would be awesome if it would be replaced with a pic showing the diamonds as those diamonds are what defines this tower

Yeah, I have no idea why they chose that diagram over the others that are much better.

While the tower is on hold, why don't they at least just build the podium? They did for 3 WTC, now they are just waiting for GroupM deal to finalize to build vertically.

Don't underestimate Larry. He can shorten it. But he can also flat-top it. The way things are going at the site, I wouldn't bet against that.
