is this tower crane bolted to the ground?? I thought they do the piggy back thing with the cranes or will they start to do that once it gets up high enough?

Just a WTC worker... nothing interesting on that picture, I posted it because all of the pictures (or at least, the majority) are about the construction, I think the people who is building it are also important.

Yes, the crane tower is sitting on a concrete foundation built just for it. The climbing cranes are a Federated Equipment patent used only by DCM Erectors. (DCM owns Federated.)

The crane itself is a FMC Linkbelt TG-1900. Owned by Cornell Crane and Steel.
