lol, basically add $250 million to the cost of the building...how much water would you be pumping to 1200 ft?

Would anyone be able to see these waterfalls from the street level? I don't think so.

You'd get a good view from 1WTC's restaurant and observation deck.

Well, if as originally stated, the water flowed all the way down the facade in the notches, from 1100 feet up, I think everyone could see the water cascading and turning to spray as it misted the whole area. Perhaps, due to the principles of water tension, some of the water would adhere to the facade the whole way down.

This will be great when it's finished but I can't relate to all the raving on about the design. It's not as if we haven't seen anything like it before. It's very similar to what has been in other cities (e.g Chicago) for years. Maybe not on as large a scale, but still very similar to say the least.

Even Calgary just got a half-sized version of 2WTC just built... Eighth Avenue Place. There is a definite similarity in angled sides, cladding, roof shape and even the channel running the length of the facade on one side.

STR, your renders keep getting better and better

And as for that waterfall idea, thatd be insane if they could do it, but it would cost soooooooooo much

It's bizarreness to have waterfall on top that building. It would be better to have it lighted with fluorescent, etc.

Waterfalls sound cool, but very impractical. The wind would blow the water off. Unless you encapsulate it I suppose. Oh well. It's not gonna happen.
