The foundations are almost done, I think you mean the sub-grade levels. They will be done in a year, or less.

Says who ?

A year from now they won't be able to finish these towers fast enough. (Checked the DOW lately ?)

Towers 2, 3 and 4 are NOT being built by the PA. They are being built by Silverstein Properties LLC. A private company with one goal, finish the towers and start collecting rent !

If anyone thinks these towers will not be built as planed, OIE, sell all you own, buy a gun and move to the woods. (Just remember to bring a radio and batteries so you will know when your predictions of Armageddon were wrong and you can rejoin the rest of us.)

I don't doubt for a second all the towers will be built. But these have been marketed for five years now. With no non-government lease signings in 2-4WTC. So I'll just keep my expectations low for the time being. Even 7WTC didn't land its first tenant till after it was finished.

The good thing is that the more progress made on the overall WTC site, the more attractive the area will be for tenants.

On March 25, 2010, the Port Authority released plans to build Two and Three World Trade Center to street level.

The plans have obviously changed according to zensteeldude.

Some written legal proof would be nice to see, as optimism unfortunately isn't enough.

First of all, the PA nor Mr. Silverstein ever said that T2 & 3 would be stumps.

They said that when the towers reach grade and the financing is still not secured then and only then would they stop at stumps.

Some written legal proof that the towers would be stumps is needed, dooms day pessimism is not enough.

If a year from now the economy is no better than it is now, we will have greater things to worry about.

Also, the market is great in NYC right now. Realted is negotiating leases for 3.5m sf at the Hudson Yards with Credit Suisse, Coach and Hearst.

I suppose that the major part of WTC1 and maybe 4 will be leased once 2 and 3 are on street level. So companies only have the option to lease in tower 2 and 3 than. ( imho )
