I can tell the difference between trolls and the clueless, and this guy is more latter than former.

I'm over it, though.

Maybe it was a acid trip. And maybe he meant 15 years for the whole WTC.

GREAT PHOTO! When you look at the site for tower 2 from other angles it's hard to see exactly how thick the foundation slab and footings realy are. Looks like they're making good progress.

Good to see the wall formworks. Been waiting quite a while for those.

Exciting stuff, you clearly see the concrete core taking shape! I don't want this to rush ahead just yet. I think the sub basement construction of any building is often the most interesting to observe.

So exited about this tower! In my opinion its way better designed that WTC 1 and 4, and a little better than 3. The Top is just out of this world. When is this tower expected to top out?

2 WTC Truck Activity Ramps Up at Vesey Street

Crews are now erecting sub-grade steel

This week, truck activity began to increase at the site of 2 World Trade Center (WTC), located inside the WTC fence along Vesey Street. To safely accommodate the truck access, pedestrians on Vesey between West Broadway and Church Street may experience brief periodic delays, or re-routing to Barclay Street one block north. The intermittent delays allow trucks to make deliveries to the Tower 2 site, where crews from Turner Construction are now erecting sub-grade steel. The city Department of Transportation, developer Silverstein Properties, and WTC owner the Port Authority are collaborating to minimize pedestrian disruption, and have posted flagpersons at multiple locations to safely redirect pedestrians as needed.

The outer columns do kinda look like an old school coffin, however the overall design of the building is beautiful. They only have so many shapes they can work with, and since the rest of the bases are square they went with something different.

The diamonds at the top are well placed, great architecture.

so if they do have to stop once it gets to street level, what are they gonna do with the site? cover it with a temporary park or something, or just leave it as is?
