Yeah, it really depends on the timing. It was around $190/night over Easter weekend.

Of course the $169 is before taxes, but there isn't much you can do about that. I'm spending the last night at the World Center Hotel for $143 before taxes. As people said, timing is everything.

As for the camera thing, it was either: get a new camera and sit at home, or go on a trip and wait until next year to get a camera.

But sorry to steer the thread in the wrong direction. Let's take hotel chat elsewhere.

It was kinda on topic, as the best place to view 2WTC construction (and the whole site) is from a room at the Hilton.

I'm curious about the car ramp (or is it a people ramp) at the east side of the site. I can't imagine where it goes in the direction of 1WTC. I don't see any slope.

One night in there costs like half of what I earn in one month! That is disgustingly expensive!

Here's a quote from another forum..Yesterday:
Quote:
Friend said they're wrapping up structural drawings, and that Silverstein is in serious talks with a big tenant and the tower will probably go ahead without pause.
Hopefully this is true. We'll see.

Then you are not earning too much...in Euros it is under €200.00. So you earn about €500.00? But I agree, for one night it is serious money!
