Huge chuck of concrete was poured on the floor slab for the 3rd basement level. It's good to see the forms rising too.

I have a small question. From what I've seen from the progress, underground floors take much longer to build than above ground floors. Why is that? And how much longer does their construction take?

Underground floors are much complicated..There's parking, ramps, mechanical stuff, pipes, they also have to adjust it with surroundings, walls, streets, PATH lines, etc..Once they're above the street and every floor is pretty much the same, and there's only core and floor, everything goes way faster..You just have to repeat the same thing till the top..

1WTC Now At Bottom Of Diamond Of 2WTC

According to a diagram by 'CULLWULLA', the current height of 1WTC is at the exact height of the bottom of the diamond of 2WTC. This puts in perspective how enormous the diamond will be.

According to the skyscraperpage diagram it's 125-130m big if we take the tripod spire into accont. If we don't, it's 100-105m big.

Few people know that they originally started to construct two identical Empire State Buildings. The PA was in charge of this one.

Show me in some kind of link, news article, video, oldtime reals, that this was supposed to happen. I personally can't find ANY proof of them going to build Two ESB's. I am very curious.

Sorry for this off topic comment.
