Don't worry, I imagine the whole site complete on a daily basis. I can't help myself sometimes, I get so anxious.

There was a major concrete pour today at the tower 2 site; the edge of it is visible on the earthcam. Anybody got better pics of it? Unfortunately, KPI-TV view has been stuck since Monday morning.

The floor count should be changed, for both 2 and 3WTC. I'll make the request.

Nope. It's pretty much the same glass as Tower 1 & 7. Only difference is the strips of almost black glass cladding the notches in the middle of the building.

oooh i see, the reflections of the darker buildings around it make the cladding appear darker in the renders.

^Depends primarly on the angle. If you take a picture of a glass building from street level, the glass will reflect the sky, unless higher buildings surround it. But if you take a shot from a higher spot (higher than the tower), then you'll see the reflection of the ground, or in this case Lower Manhattan's buildings.

3wtc is just way too small now. Hopefully they don't chop 2wtc too.

I don't care how tall 3WTC, as long as it's over 1000 feet.

Is that space (the spire) really going to be hollow?

it is not at all certain that it got chopped in the first place, that's just a rumor sparked by STR. Even if he may have some reason to believe I am still waiting for the official figures before jumping to conclusions. It would mess up the spiral effect entirely anyway.

PS. STR those 2WTC renderings are f'ing GORGEOUS!

I've read on curb, that the height for 3WTC is 1,170. It was suppose to be taller than ESB by at less 20 feet. Guest we won't know till it finish.

Yes, but on another forum someone talked to a guy from FEMA about the possibility of setting up an emergency communications center in Tower 2. Meaning there will be radio equipment on top eventually.

Construction update: They poured a big amount of concrete today (and yesterday) for the current floor, so hopefully there will be more structural steel going up soon.

Yeah it will be. I said 3WTC will be 1,170 feet. Someone brought it up. I don't know why, something about a height change, for this building as well.

Basically yes (1WTC's parapet goes to 1368 feet and 2WTC's spire goes to 1350 feet). But in that rendering, 1WTC is a lot closer to the viewer then 2 is.
