They've already removed one tower crane.

I agree with you, tower 2 looks way better and has got a way greater impact on the skyline than tower 4. Too bad money is the only thing Larry cares about

You can't be serious. Larry is the one man you can thank for the WTC existing as anything more than a pit. His contributions to the rebuilding are incalculable.

He also claimed that 9/11 was two separate incidents to get more insurance money, what kind of insenstive scumbag does that?

The World Trade Center Development has been an inexcusible failure, not because of the buildings, they're fine (maybe they could have been a bit taller but whatever) but the lack of priorities by the US government is just astounding, seriously it's been 10 years, people should be rioting in the streets instead of standing for this BS.

It needs a tenant. Related CEO Stephen Ross said a few months ago that he's aware of between 8 and 10 companies all looking for at least 1 million square feet of new space. By the way, Related is the company building the Hudson Yards, but for a number of reasons they can offer lower rents on a per square foot basis than Silverstein at the WTC. So the Hudson Yards will likely fill first, then the WTC and Brookfields Towers etc, will fill up.

And we've had this WTC plan since 2006, it hasn't been 10 years, and the Feds have nothing to do with this. Towers 2, 3, and 4 are being built by a private developer and Tower 4 is being filled almost entirely with city and state agencies, much like the original WTC. They're doing us a favor by filling that tower.

Well, I have a very negative opinion on Larry but I think this is for a much longer discussion than what this thread can take so I created a thread about Larry in the Citytalk section, here is the link:

Why don't you try do Larry's job before you start judging and ranting about his work? I checked your other post, it is comical. NYC isn't Dubai, you're dreaming. You probably don't even know how the business works in NYC.

If you scroll right it also includes WTC2! It's actually very nice picture of the three construction sites together.
