The millenium Hilton Hotel is a nice point from where you could do an update about 3 and 2 WTC.

The main Earthcam is mounted on top of the Hilton, so you pretty much get a Millennium Hilton update every 15 minutes of every day.

I'm gonna guess that there spandrel beams and they'll connect all the vertical columns together forming the outline of the first floor. The PA board meetings hinted at some type of "architectural wall" above grade. There will probably be some temporary mechanical stuff as well related to the new Hub.

They can also put webcams on 4 and 1 WTC because they are finished when 2 and 3 will be built.

I hardly doubt that could happen, unless you want views from the rooftop of each building (soo damn tall )

I think that view will be the best one once towers 2 and 3 will be in a late phase of construstion with 200 or more meters

How tall is the first floor of this building? The steel we see now is one level, but the lobby of the tower has to be two or three 'stories' tall.

From this render from the first page of the thread, it looks like the lobby is on the western side, on the eastern side the first floor is just one floor high (provided the render is correct and nothing has changed)

It's not all for the tower, some will be utilized by the Calatrava PATH Hub.

The question is: since they announced that 2WTC will be a one level stub, and none of that mechanical equipment will be built for the hub, what is the real plan? They should at least go to level 12 where the tower only section begins.

It is! More progress than it has made in weeks. Above ground steel going up for the first floor, but only a small amount of it because it is needed for the Transportation Hub. After that, it will not make much progress at all because the building needs tenants to be built.
