this building has lost all identity by changing to the second desing, before it was itnruiging and unique, now it just looks like another boring tower...

What's going to be on the flat surface on the top... a tennis court maybe?

I always love ESB look-alikes, but in this case I'd prefer the older design. It looks so brutally evil!

A very handsome tower. I like this one a lot.

I think many of the skyscrapers being built in China are of excellent design, they are refined and tasteful. I think this is a reflection of China's long centuries-old history and tradition of artistic excellence. Now, this is just my opinion, but a lot of skyscrapers going up in places like Dubai, Las Vegas, Saudi Arabia and Russia are really tacky and kitschy ... these buildings will look very dated and gauche in 10 or 20 years. Some of the Chinese buildings are really lovely though!

This is quite futuristic looking. Very nice indeed.

Must say, they are building some beautiful towers/skyscrapers in China these days ... buildings that are very stylish, unique and elegant looking, while most other countries are still building the same old repetitive crap.

Yeah, i agree with you. There are a lot of gems going up in China at the moment. They are modernizing very rapidly

Chongqing seems to have less billboards than eastern Chinese cities.
