I think it's He Jingtang, the same architect that designed the China Pavilion for the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, which looks very similar to the Cathay Opera in Chongqing.

The cool thing about some of these Chinese museums is that they're not just empty architectural statements. They're actually filled with artifacts and historical items. Not so sure about the women's culture museum tho...

Why not build a new oriental pearl in Chongqing 600 meter tall that would be the perfect landmark for chongqing xD

YESSS they picked the good design
it looks great in the renders too. But im just really happy they didnt pick that box with the UFO on top.
