the northern Highlands are very beautiful, the southern lush farmlands and savanna are also nice if you can find pictures of them. The areas with lakes like Ambo, Chamo, Langano, Zway etc. are picturesque.
Alot of great pictures are possible from Ethiopia. very photogenic place

Dallol salt springs - This is apparently the only place in the world where you can see this.

Hot spring near lake
![]() ![]() Sanetti Plateau - Bale Mountains - South. It may not look like it, but this is at 4000 m elevation! ![]() ![]() More angles of Sof Omar cave - South ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Rift Valley lakes Abaya and Chamo separated by the Bridge of God. They are extremely different, one is a foggy, mysterious lake, the other is bright with lots of hot springs and a white sandy beach. - South ![]() ![]() Gumarre Forrest - West ![]() ![]() Danakil Depression - North east (where Dallol and Erta Ale are) - desert that's described as Moon-like because there's no life whatsoever, just minerals. ![]() ![]() ![]()
