Just curious, are Park Slope and Williamsburg considered good or bad areas? Park Slope seems to look better W-burg

Both those areas are very good but different.Park Slope is one of the oldest residential part of Brooklyn .Williamsburg was always industrial but now old factories and warehouses are being converted
to apartments ,lofts which are very popular among artists and young people. For families I recommend Park Slope for singles Williamsburg.
There is a lot of restaurants, pubs, coffe shops, teahouses, night clubs, galleries and is only one stop away from Manhattan.

Jesse, these are great hoods! YOu might think twice of williamsburg due to the grit but that's just how many neighborhoods in ny are. THere tends to be your usual browstone/tenement filled streets and then you have your typical lonely industrial areas full of graf and warehouses. You just gotta love it..

Btw, It's so weird seeing a set of the very streets I walk practically everyday. SOme of those new lowrise buildings are really impressive and very sleek. 1st pic in post 116 for example. TOo bad it doesn't have any ground floor retail...
