Montreal....a little at a time.

Hey Everyone. I recently purchased a new camera and have not had the time to learn how to use it properly, I had a meeting downtown and had an hour to kill. I took some random shots of some buildings downtown, so I hope you enjoy them and....I want to Thank You for your time.

I will be posting my photos a little at a time. image hosted on flickr

My favourite office tower in Montreal is still the cruciform Place Ville Marie Tower. Certainly has stood the test of half a century.

That's probably my favourite photo of La Bourse ever. You really captured a quality in that building that I hadn't enjoyed before. Good job, and keep them coming.

I think they are very exciting pictures, and isaidso is right.. everyone sees things their own way, and you have given us a new angle on these buildings!
I remember when my camera was new I just left it on automatic for a month as it was too intimidating to figure it all out!

I love I.M Pei's Place Ville Marie. It's fitting that his Montreal commission was in the shape of a crucifix. Make sure you get a shot of McGill College all lit up with holiday lights after the first snow fall. The view up this strip to McGill University is gorgeous.

I love the homes on Mt Royal and Westmount too. Those stone buildings are so beautiful.
