All the projects in Ørestad collected in one photo update by Hafnia.

Let's start from the VM mountain with some nice views.

Rødovre skyline. We still miss the postponed Sky village building out there. To the right construction/cranes on the Sluseholm/Stigsboderne.

Turning east, Baltica's beloved Manhattan.

Carlsberg and the biggest of them all: Herlev Hospital, 15k away in direct line.

And of course the old town.

Right under me, the light hall.

Vupti up again, the Bella Quarter, cleared in front and construction behind.

The ongoing Ø-Huset construction. Finally.

Swecos up start slowly approaching.

The large Cabb-Inn expansion at Arne Jacobsens Allé.

Crossing the E20 river, and the Arena City.

The arena is without doubt the most beautiful designed arena/stadium ever made in this little country.

So why spoil it with this appendix of a building.

The following photos will contents some of the many housing constructions in and south of the Arena-Byen. I don't recall all their names, so I'll leave that to you informed guys.

Headding north to the August Schade neighborhood with 2 constructions.

Nordea HQ.

The green Carré.

Still no sign of activity of the Eksercérplads building.

Hafnia has been on a photo spree so here is the Århusgadekvarter in Nordhavn.

A glimpse of the Tuborg Havn and the CIS.

I like this photo

The Silo and notice the aircraft in the blue.

The Frihavns silo being refreshed.

Impressive how the new citizens are decorating their houses, despite surrounding constructions.

Dense.

It's a pleasure to watch the high quality bricks and the general cladding being the precedence in the Århusgade quarter.

There isn´t any recent (good) pictures of Axel Towers so Hafnia is to the rescue again with these 1 month old pictures.

The final project for the post terminal is finally revealed.

I was at the meeting/hearing this evening. The usual nimbys who don't really want anything but they were a bit more subdued this time. The northerly tower in the office building's courtyard will be reduced to about 10 floors but the m2 will be placed elsewhere. The circular towers facing the railway tracks will be housing with shops and cafés on the ground floor. The large courtyard block facing Bernstorffsgade will be the new Danske Banks's HQ. (The director of Dania Pension confirmed it)

Here is a link to the preliminary hearing and some photos I took of the model on display.

Axel Towers framed in by to other towers.

The one to the left is City Hall and to the right is the Scandic Palace hotel, the other Scandic hotel in the background is Scandic Copenhagen.

The area around the new Royal Arena looks more and more urban for every photo update.

BTW the arena will open on February the 3rd with the first of 3 Metallica concerts.

Foster's office building looks great. So bright and open, unlike typical offices.

Personally I´m more impressed by the ski slope on the roof but the smoke rings is a fun feature.

Buildings atop of underground stations seems to be the trend and of course Copenhagen will also get one on the city circle line when it opens in 2019.

This one is located above Frederiksberg Allé station.

Yet another redesign as the post terminal project moves through the varius city planning offices and meetings.

As noted in the Copenhagen subforum its one of these rare cases where complains has made a project better.

It is still under revision but apparently this is very close to the final project.
The main alteration is breaking up of the large office block along Bernstorffsgade (Den Danske Bank?) into two blocks one 4-5 floors and the other one the same height as SEB banken, with a connecting bridge between them.
This means that the originally proposed view to Hambrosgade is reestablished.
In my opinion this is the best proposal yet and should, though not certain, please the opponents.

Can't wait to see that project. The skinny round towers will look cool.

The last 2 building in Søndre Frihavn has topped out some time ago and cladding and interior work is in full swing.

Kapo311 went on a public viewing in the Science City.

Enjoy!

They have used pneumatic roof construction (plastic envelope filled with air) over the semi-closed courtyards

I was surprised to see the large open space under Jagvej - there is a indoor gallery on one side, then bicycle parking and public path on the left, connecting the university park with Rådmandsgade
