The building under construction next to Shanghai Tower is Oriental Financial Center. The "plot" next to Jinmao is reserved green belt and no skyscraper will be built there.

Kudos to Shenyang for building such a beautiful, modern and huge (60 km upon commencement of operation!) tram network in 18 months.

Shanghai will build next tram line in Songjiang area. It seems Shanghai is only building unconnected lines to supplement the existing metro network.

Whoops, missed that one... Sorry. Just looked it up. Looks like they have some nice expansion plans, too!

It's actually quite nice to see that they are complementing their metro network with light rail. More cities should do this more often as I think they work well together. I really like the light rail system here in Stockholm despite having a metro.
