Yes and no....

They're intertwined but this one is happening regardless.. the Small Craft Harbour from Carte Blanche (and it was a VERY crap and biased story) is still a bit up in the air.

Some of the stuff with the Beach Front Redevelopment has started, but nothing major yet afaik.. Pictures will be forthcoming when the big works start.. You can be sure of that

Is there any part of this redevelopment that will be completed by September this year? It would especially be lekker if the redevelopment around Ushaka is complete by that time.

No project-specific timeframes have been given by the city but everything is scheduled to be finished by May 2010. At minimum, the pedestrian bridge linking MM to the promenade / beach should be done by then as construction crew are currently seemingly working on the bridge pillar smack in the middle of the M4 (which is causing traffic chaos everyday). I can't see that lasting until Sept. The promenade in that area (from M4 to beach) is also currently in progress as everything is currently dug up.

I think it's that little diner right in front of Addington Beach. Needs a complete overhaul / replacement, in my humble opinion.
