ANTALYA | Public Transport



Antalya is a city on the Mediterranean coast of southwestern Turkey. It is the capital city of Antalya Province. The population of the city was 775157 in the 2007 census. Antalya has a Mediterranean climate. Situated on a cliff over the Mediterranean, Antalya is surrounded by mountains. Developments in tourism, starting in the 1970s, transformed the city into an international resort.

Isn't Antalya booming? There was a documentary about the region on Australian TV last year... I seem to remember them saying something about a lot of factories opening in Antalya...


Is that correct, or am I getting mixed up with another region in Turkey?

I don't think so. Antalya is Turkey's tourism capital, it is booming but in tourism sector.

Whole project will be finished after four phases. Phase 2 project is ready and construction will start after phase 1 completed.

LRT System Phase 2 - Pro



Total Length: 26 Km (11 Km Underground)

Total Cost: 300 Million Euros

I prepared this map by Mayor Türel's announcements to local journalists. This is not the certain map about Phase 2.

Great thread...I think CAF started to deliver the tramcars nowdays. and one of them is currently awaiting at the new depot area can you send here , its more clear pictures?
