Capacity probably a bit low.. 40,000 would have been great. Love the stadium look! Wish for something of the same down here in Tasmania!!

God no. Look up 1956 olympics.

Will this stadium be ready for the 2010-2011 season? I was hoping it would be ready for this season but it doesn't look like it and the victory have their matches at etihad.

Victoria is an AFL/cricket state, not a rugby state, so a large rectangular stadium isn't necessary.

Awesome looking stadium, defintely going to keep an eye on this one.

So this one is being used for Soccer, Rugby and League. I'm assuming AFL is played at the Telstra Dome/Docklands (what's it called now?). Is the MCG used for anything over the winter besides the occasional International Rugby match?

The MCG is used for AFL matches between March-September and cricket from September to February. Oh and acting as our sporting shrine all year round.

The MCG hosts about 50-60 afl matches throughout the winter.

Really? Wow, didn't know that, but don't know much about AFL at all. What about the dome?

It also hosts about 40-60 matches during the winter.
