MISC | Mercedes-Benz buses

Well, after vieving this forum for so long time I've discovered that we talk too litle about the stock. Every city has got it own needs. That's why in every city buses are slighty diffrent. Of course we can't discus about every type of transit, so let's focus on Mercedes-Benz buses. Un or fortunately in Warsas we don't have even one MB Bus. Maybe of of You can say something about them or show something unusual about Meredes Buses in Yours' cities.
Let's open the discusion

Wow that black and silver Istanbul artic is amazing. First twin axle trailer artic I have ever seen. Do you know what it's overall length is?

Now if something like that was in London the locals would have something to winge about. But a standard 18m artic is just fine.

In Zaragoza, (Spain) we do have CITAROs in our local urban transport. Mercedes has been present in the city for a long time, and several models.

Although I must say, I am not very much fun of CITAROs... I have to say that in our city, a couple of them have gone on fire... I am not sure exactly why, whether it was neglect from the operator or a real problem with the vehicles.

I am more a Renault Citybus fan, eventhough the bus is a rather old one...

City of Tucumán, Argentina: Mercedes-Benz LO 814 D with Todobus bodywork; the minibuses were favored in the late ´90s due to a serious drop in patronage. They are now being replaced with bigger, front engined and very high floored buses (Nearly every one is a Mercedes).

New Mercedes Citaro busses are known to cause a lot of problems. In both cities that live we have them and it's quite often a hassle, as they break down due to technical problems. From what busdrivers told me MAN busses are much more reliable.

they are problematic in the narrow streets of london, i saw a bendy bus in picadilly today caused havoc near the hay market area. i consider them a mistake for London, although the busses themselves are excellent, very smooth and carry a lot of passengers. i cant wait the double decker route masters to be reinstated and these merc bendy busses removed from service. also for some weird reason, these busses do not have fare conducturs, so a lot of fare is not collected, but thats not the fault of the bus, but the bus company

i have been in such a hoppa mercedes bus, and they are an embarrasment to the prestige of the mercedes badge.

In 2006 all city buses in the state of Sonora, Mexico were replaced for these Mercedes-Benz buses:

They are far from being the best MB buses like those in this thread but they are way better than our old city buses, here's the comparison:
