Is this the one that faces the soccer field and has a preserved building next to it?

The render location map is so misleading. The building looks ten time bigger than what it actually is.

Here is a map for reference. The site is right at the centre on the map.

And I didn't mean to capture the building, just happened to took this two weeks back, but it still a good reference for location.
The first intersecting street on the left is Lun Fat Street; and York Place is the building under construction in green.

I like all these new white towers. And it's so much better as a stand alone vs. those West Kowloon blandness.

To be fair, the designers of Harbourside and Arch need shooting for providing us with such shit prominent landmarks.

Was there any architect on the first hand? Or was it just a design to optimize profit?

The Arch is done by AGC Design Ltd (http://www.agcdesign.com.hk/index.html) which also designed the Island Lodge in North Point, the Sino/URA project in Fuk Wing / Fuk Wah Street (called the Vista), and participated in the PolyU Innovation Tower project.

The Harbourside is done of P & T Group (which is quite famous). http://www.p-t-group.com/html/home.php

Gosh, Innovation Tower is so much better than Island Lodge. Can't believe these two extremes can come from the same design company.

Well I believe that Zaha Hadid did it for the most part... somewhat like ICC (KPF and the local Wong Ouyang company)

YORK PLACE 8

Is it? I thought it's hidden amidst all the tall buildings in the area!
