The Spanish group OHL construct Sonatrach’s convention centre in Oran, estimated to be worth €400 million euros.

Concerning the realisation of this project, OHL was in direct competition with four other international groups: the French ‘Bouygues’, Korean ‘Keang-Nam’, Chinese ‘CSCEC’ and Egyptian ‘Orascom’.

The centre is planned to be completed within 24 months along Oran’s maritime coastline. It will be constructed on an 80,000 m2 large terrain owned by Sonatrach. The project, which has qualified as one of “national interest”, foresees a polyvalent conventions room and a 300-room luxury hotel.

The national corporation of hydrocarbons wants to affiliate itself with the conventions centre in Oran in order to organise events starting with the 16th international conference regarding LNG (liquefied natural gas) in April 2010.

j'espere que c'est la qualité mediocre de l'image de canal algerie qui donne cet aspect vieillo et bof a cette batisse

et bien justement tounsi mdrr
dans certains projet que j'ai vu, j'ai l'impression qu'on avance mais la on recule

j'espere qu'il y au moins la qualité du service c'est deja ça pour rattrapper l'architecture
