True...if this building were in Las Vegas people would probably be singing its praises.

Nice building but also funny looking. Like a squatted giant.

The cladding is good, the finishing is perfect for such a ludicrous looking building.

The renders show a clear path to the front of the building. I wonder if that grey wall will be totally taken down soon?

Depends on which side of the building this avenue ends, this could be the other side.

Good point. Do all three sides look the same?

From the images posted so far, yes, all sides look the same apart from the entrance. To spot the different would be the to be able to differentiate the surroundings and other features. Like the roads, other buildings, trees and activities going on around it.

I just checked out Google Earth images and the structures at the base are very different, front and back. The only one with a perpendicular street leading up to the building is what I assume is the front main entrance. The other two sides either have a road parallel to it or a small lake. I can't post pictures here, but maybe someone else can?

I love how the Hotel looks now. So sleek, and shiny. When I first saw the latest photos, I thought it was "how it was supposed to look if it was finished". It was so depressing to see such a tall building, unfinished. It looked like a tower the "More-locks" built in the 1960's movie The Time Machine.

I would guess the left hand corner of this image is the hotel main entrance.

Thanks. Fountains in the front? I sure would like to see Google or another company update us with a newer satellite image of this hotel.

Wow, eye opening video. It reminds me of China 20 years ago, but cleaner, less traffic, and with better buildings.
