No the building is empty. The underground convention center may be used as well as adjacent buildings. It is not lit up at night.

Do you mean like the pyramids are built as tombs for the Pharaohs and their queens.

THANK YOU! I've been looking ALL OVER THE INTERNET for a nightime satellite photo of korea from the late 80s! All the results are clogged with photos from after the soviet collapse!

They are indeed soulless. They're doing business with North Korea for christ's sake!

Corporations are soulless because they are not people. Corporations are robotic in that they're programmed to go on a single path: the path of profit motive. And it doesn't matter what kinds of ties they make, as long as it results in profit. The only reason the affiliations they make would actually ever matter would be only if there was profit at stake.

The building itself is somewhat impressive, but what a sterile and boring city. And that's just the "potemkin village" side of it. Don't look behind the streetscape facades.

Heating and electricity are cheap in NK, since they have abundant deposits of coal there.

OMG...what a monstrosity of a building. I'm not sure if i like it or not.
On some fotos it looks o.k or even good. On others with a different light and angle is my first impression: ugly and terrible.
I think the top isn't well done, i don't like the conical part, doens' t fit in. And the strange "spire" construction at the top...
