ah, the infamous Ryomyong propaganda buildings, monuments to the stupidity and cruelty of the dictatorship.

"The buildings themselves look good, but the elevators often don’t work. A bigger problem is that tap water doesn’t run at all on the high-rise floors."

http://www.dailystar.co.uk/news/late...m-jong-un-fake

"An anonymous North Korean defector told Radio Free Asia in March that many of North Korea’s showcase towers have electric and water problems, especially on the higher floors. As with the 105-story Ryugyong Hotel in North Korea, the upper floors go abandoned due to lack of basic services, and are soon occupied by homeless children. The same will happen to Ryomyong Street’s towers, predicted the defector."

There's no cars or people period lol

The second picture down in post #5641 is a massive new complex. The tallest tower is 886 feet according to the CTBUH.

That's the one built in 74 days, and considered not very sound. But it never was about building real buildings for real people.

Lego would have been stronger and probably longer lasting.

No one can verify that... Daily star, something like "The Mirror"? But of course, the buildings are probably still on hold as CTF Guangzhou, that is also unfinished and switched of for many mounths, as well as Pingan IFC for example, these things need time... These articles are just US propaganda - boulvared news Soon some US magazine will find Ryomyong street as the ugglyest street in the world, as well as they signed Ryguyong hotel as the ugglyest building in the world, but everyone who ever looked at Ryugyong and 1wtc must see Ryugiong looks 1000 times better, although it´s always on hold.

If you're referring to the original WTC, Ryugyong was a skeleton back then so of course it was uglier than the WTC. And if you're referring to the new WTC1, well, that building looks about a thousand times better imo

Neither of those are news sites, so all of this is just as easily fake as it might be for real. Try and find an actual source to corroborate it.

Whatever is the case Pyongyang and Nth Korea is an extremely fascinating and mysterious place.
I for one intend to visit in the not to distant future, and judging by the reports of heard from those that have been to the DPRK recently ill still be fascinated by this secretive kingdom.
