Yeah the top really looks quite something. Would be impressive if it does serve as a mausoleum. But also a bit wasteful...

So is there any information (or rumors at least?) about the use of this building? If it's financed by a foreign company then they sure must have some commercial interest in it. Or would they just put the cladding on and leave it to "look nice"?

Yeah, all of us with the micron will certainly be watching for the outcome and we'll all remember your sticking your neck into the guillotine for us.
Don't be so precious. Surely you can absorb my jibe without developing an inferiority complex?

I merely extrapolated my knowledge of the facts concerning this building and the way North Korea is as a country right now. You really think they're going to go from their current state to allowing thousands upon thousands of international guests to move into a hotel and flood the city almost overnight with no pre-warning of inkling of suggestion? I seriously think not. It's a fairly logical conclusion.

In any case, the agreement was, as I understand it, for the Egyptian company behind the communications mast to clad the exterior of the building. That's what has been said for a long time now, and was has been reported multiple times.

Now you must have at least 5 microns of knowledge...

LOL, and your pic is NOT an obvious photoshop? The picture of North/South Korea is a satellite photo, and you can find multiple similar photos online. It's not a big secret that North Korea doesn't have much electricity. Although, it seems so much is a secret about the Ryugyong Hotel...I can't wait to see what happens with it.

So what are you suggesting? The 'backward' North have mastered Photoshop!? And then they publish it in their newspaper to distribute among the citizens of Wonsan? So that they can see for their own that their newspapers are telling lies? YES, that makes perfect sense!!

There are many pictures of Pyongyang and Wonsan at night, so it can't be totally black as the firs satellite photo was showing.

You can already see from the glass on the top that it's an actual recent picture.

You must mean precocious....and yes I have been and am to date at 52

1 : exceptionally early in development or occurrence <precocious puberty>
2 : exhibiting mature qualities at an unusually early age <a precocious child>

Yep...no doubt...at least 5 maybe more, but you got no facts about the building, just a guess or two like the rest of us. I don't need to absorb anything you write so far.
