I don't understand. It is the same 'skyline impact' for the past 18+ years. I am not sure what else has changed the Pyongyang skyline in that time?

While I love kittensandpuppies, that's way off topic. Please talk only about the building, not politics!

I just read this in Wiki: A decade after the start of construction, the European Union Chamber of Commerce in Korea conducted an inspection of the building, where it was concluded that the structure was "irreparable"

Anyone ever read the details of this report? It must contain specific information about why they deemed it irreparable!

That stadium in the pic Imre posted, is it the 150.000 seater stadium, biggest in the world?

This is the one you're thinking of (in the upper left corner):

Less CNN, more thinking.

This last picture shows that large city can be quiet and peaceful. No whores and junkies on every corner, no traffic jams, no police sirens and murders in ghettos.

Politics aside, your post is rude.

You said: This last picture shows that large city can be quiet and peaceful. No whores and junkies on every corner, no traffic jams, no police sirens and murders in ghettos.

The person you were responding to said *none of that.* He said only "enslaved people," which is what the North Korean people are. He *did not* say that they were living in a city filled with whores and junkies. You added that. Oh, and there are no traffic jams because the North Korean people don't have cars. And last time I checked, you can't hear police sirens in a picture. And murder happens everywhere, period. And whores and junkies are everywhere, too. So inevitably North Korea will have its fair share of murderers, junkies, and whores, just like any other country.

North Korean law breakers get arrested quickly due to their neighbor spying system.

Great system! But we don't need that stuff in the west, we got cell phone and credit card tracking, plus a web of surveillance cameras in every city ensuring that only mafia-compliant criminal activities can go on! We're centuries more advanced!
