There has been an army of contractors vans all day everyday in the last 2 weeks on the road next to players, they are throwing everything at getting it fitted as soon as possible. Sound systems have been going in today

When I went past last night at about 10.30 there were quite a few people in there doing stuff. Its certainly been done quick, when I went back a few weeks ago it was still its boarded up mess.

Well im sober! Just havnt quite managed to get my self into bed, but im working 12-10pm tomorrow night which im not looking forward to. I hope none of you are planning on going to customer service at M&S in Meadowhall tomorrow and shouting at the poor innocent guy who will be there (which will be me!)

Hmm, thinking of doing a bit of shopping tomorrow but probably just town centre - if i go to meadowhall i'll make a point of visiting M&S customer service

Players was due to open on Friday night, I presume they managed it.

Im told the render on the concrete wasnt dry before the paint went on, the furniture only arrived on friday and the bar wasn't fully fitted even on friday evening!!

yeah, there are some lovely new and old buildings along west street, but there are some really really really shitty ones too

Just me that thinks the bays look a bit on the weak side? Not so much the bays them selves, more the connections to the main building. Moment connections to what looks like a plate projected from the face of a column?(Correct me if i'm wrong)

I wouldn't've liked to design those...

yeah i was thinking that, but they havent got anything to square them off yet. so they may distort slightly.

Yeah ther's bits missing still but i agree they look very flimsy.
