Toronto's Humber Bay Park After the Storm

I went to Humber Bay Park West this afternoon, which borders Lake Ontario. It was really cold outside (about -16c), and we had a lot of snow and ice from Toronto's first major winter storm yesterday.

Here's what I captured:

Hope you enjoyed it!

Wonderful!

I love snow!! Great pics! I didn´t know it could be so cold in Toronto. -16C is extremely freezing!!!!!!!!! Here in Buenos Aires it is never so cold. The lowest temperatures in winter rarely go below -3C.

-16 isnt that cold. Where I currently live, daytime temps are regularly in the neagtive twenties and sometimes into the thirties. Windchill can go into the negative fourties.

It was much colder by the lake yesterday too, plus the windchill factored in probably made it about -20c at least. That's one of the coldest days Toronto has seen this season so far, so that's cold enough for me. In the summer, temps usually reach about 30-35c max., again unbearable for me. That's why I like fall/spring the best.

We looked at mountains until dawn, and then when dawn came, it was too pretty for me - there was pink and blue and gold, in the sky, and on icy places, brilliant pink and gold flashes, and the snow was colored too, and I said," Oh," and sighed; and each moment was more beautiful than the one before; and I said, " I love you, Momma." Then I fell asleep in her arms.
That was happiness then.

For an outsider I know Toronto's cold veeeery well, way too well to be honest heh. Beautiful pics, I just don't like the ice, disgusting thing, but the snow is awesome.

Toronto's winters are nice because, despite of all the cold and snow, there are some good sunny days as well.

WOW...what we just endured in Seattle is NOTHING compared to what Totonto dealt with. Look at those frozen trees...amazing! Thanks for sharing.
