Capricorn, is that a pin-hole camera you are using?

As opposed to the economy and cars. I would just rinse my car off when I get home.

No...I'm just using a small camcorder. I held a wreath in front of the cam to have that effect. Actually, I'm planning to buy a digital SLR but haven't decided what brand. I'm looking for one that will fit my old minolta lenses.

Well, snow is very nice specially when it's still fresh but when it starts to get icified (is there such a word?) or starts to thaw then that will get you into trouble. it's hard to walk or drive through the snow. that's the reason most likely our garbageman hasn't picked up our trash for two weeks now.

Thanks. It was pretty hard to get up there, as there was barely 1 route that was actually clear. I ended up with very wet feet and jeans for the walk back home
Thankfully, the snow is almost gone...it just causes havoc in Vancouver.

thanks nielsiej13 and TB for your comments.
@ zivan56...i thought so that driving up the QE park is quite impossible and going up by foot would really need quite an effort.
anyways.....

there was a story on the news tonight - i missed it - but it said some of those snow covered cars that if they wanted to move couldn't... were being given tickets!

geee ..that's bad for car owners. yeah..i've seen cars parked on main streets which are not supposed to be parked there and there's a car near my place which was parked ahead of a bus stop..that car has a a dent on its rear-side probably hit by a bus.

Nice tour of snow covered Van City capricorn.

I usually only visit in the summer, so seeing all the snow is shocking to me.

Thanks for sharing these pics.
