I prefer pics. You can take as lot as you can and post here only the best ones.
But I guess that most of other people will vote for video

I did a road trip between Tallinn and Riga a couple of months ago and it seemed like people were driving much faster in LV compared to EST. Would you agree? Are traffic fines much more expensive in EST or is the "traffic culture" really different?

Also, the A10 between Riga and Jürmala was a really nice road!

I have heard rumours that difference between fines is big enough to let Estonians stay calm.
Of course, traffic culture is different too.

As Riga is already signed in Moscow, are there also signs in Riga that point to Moscow?

Good updates, tnx!

I also think that yet there are no signs that show Moscow direction, just Pskov.. Although I don't know the situation in the vicinity of LV/RUS border, in Riga region you won't find that.. Same as Vilnius f.i., only "Šauļi/Šiauliai" or other closest city/town to the national border.

Well, Pskov is really another direction than Moskva. Pskov is more direction Sankt-Peterburg, (not encouraged for through traffic I believe!).

Maybe there are some Russian M9 destinations around Rēzekne, although you only have Velikiye Luki and then a whole lot of nothing until you reach Moskva.

Tallinn is signed on Via Baltica and even on A5, but Parnu is closer.

But I 've never seen "Tallinn" to be signed that way (always it's in Latvian - "Tallina") and I don't really think Pärnu could be signed the way it is in Estonian, only "Pērnava" in the best case, as we call it..

Just can't get it - what for these idiotic vandals do it? Is this some sort of protest against goverment or an increase of poverty? Don't they understand that they do harm for themselves actually..?

Probably just boredom. Most vandalism is done by people / youths who have nothing to do. I mean, what can you do with a traffic sign? You can't sell it or eat it. I remember some stories from Romania where gypsys used to steal about anything that's around the road.

Tbh, in some cases (I guess as the main part) all that is just being stolen so that to render it up as a metal and to get money for that, you know, unfortunately not rare situation here in East..

By the way, I just read most Riga signs on M9 were replaced with Pskov, but you can still find Riga signs around MKAD.

^ Man, what's wrong with them?! Such an important destination is being taken off, of course Pskov is a Russian city, not foreign one, but still they could at least duplicate Riga below Pskov sign, even let it be written in Russian..
