@KillerZavatar

Nice render. Just imagine how it will look like if the two other supertall (and some 200+ towers) which are still below ground (but U/C) are completed. CTF then won't be so alone like on this render.

as far as i know these towers are all behind the two big ones from that angle. but on arial photos they will make a big impact, especially from looking towards the tower from that long street right there

Guangzhou may have the most 300+ topped out or uc?
But from that view, some of them are covered by the higher ones, it's pity
I think if they were built along the river
the view must be more attractive

The idea was to incorporate them into the Zhujiang New City urban fabric which creates a quasi-symmetrical urban layout with a number of vertical landmarks along its edges.

Of course it would have looked better from the other side of the river if all of them were built along the waterfront... bit it's just that. Now it looks much better from the street level in Zhujiang area itself AND still looks great from the river (and especially the Canton Tower observation deck). It's a grand urban idea and thinking which is a showcase of what a good contemporary planning should be like. In this sense it has few (if any) matches in the world today. It surely deserves an applause.

You're welcome. I don't think you'll find a dedicated thread to this development (I couldn't... which is a shame). But you can find all major individual projects in their individual threads. However, you can just search it on the net. Type in "Zhujiang new city/town" or 珠江新城 into a search engine and you'll find some information and imagery.
