Yes, it seems to be a new delivery.

Xiamen Air's (MF) livery is the best of the bunch in my opinion, although Korean Air's is a close second. And finally, comparing Hainan Airlines' old and new liveries together, the newer one looks more optimistic and dynamic than the old one, and I really like it.

Kenya Airways launches extra flights to China
Friday, March 22, 2013 - 00:00
The Star

NATIONAL carrier Kenya Airways now has four daily flights to Guangzhou up from the four weekly flights it has been operating to the Chinese commercial city.

KQ has announced that the daily flights will start on April 1 departing from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport at 2335. The increase in flight frequency comes at a time when trade between Kenya and China has increased tremendously thereby boosting traffic between these two countries.

“This daily service will contribute towards sustainable development in Africa by linking it to the rest of the world,” said KQ managing director Titus Naikuni.

The flight to Guangzhou will pass through Bangkok. The airline which is celebrating its 36th anniversary has also introduced new direct flights between Hong Kong and Dubai, operating three times a week.

Exactly. China and Argentina are exactly antipodes...i.e. opposite sides of the earth. Buenos Aires-Guangzhou is significantly longer than New York-Singapore, currently the longest non-stop route.

Slightly longer than Singapore-New York is Tahiti-Los Angeles-Paris, a two-leg journey.

I was wondering, the T2 doesn't seem too large. How is it possible that the capacity will jump from 35 to 80 million? Or maybe the 80 million capacity will be due to further terminals in addition to T2?

The total terminal space seems quite large to me. But I agree that 80 million capacity seems a bit high. Maybe that's a long-term goal, part of a master plan that envisions future terminal additions.

I think the new runway will drive the capacity increase, so it doesn't necessarily have to be more terminal space. Technically, they can still run the flights without the terminal space by forcing passengers to bus out to the remote stands.
