Why does the Fedex taxiway looks so wide, even wider than the existing runways? That is why it looked like the 3rd runway.
It looks like the 3rd runway is very far away from the buildings, because of the Fedex hub, occupying the field.

judging from the picture above, it seems the airport has already reaching capacity even after the expansion, with nearly all the gates are occupied!

According to the master plan of GZ Baiyuan Airport, there will be 5 runways ultimately. Looking at the picture, I guess the red line is actually a central taxiway and you can see the high-speed exits to be connected to the existing runway. The runway should be right next to this red line. The black line is also the site for runway, but it seems that one next to the red line will be built before it.

If you check last post, it seems the final structure will be even larger.

Also, what was the details of the deal that made this airport "home" for FedEx?
