They are working on the fence on top of the weird looking white "Iceberg" building to the right. It appears to otherwise be completed from this angle. At least on the exterior.

Trees have been planted (I don't think they have been there before at least):

Some glass pyramids have started popping up between two the buildings:

I believe the remainings of a viking ship found on the construction site will be showcased underneath them.

They did archaeological excavations on the site? Interesting!

They're forced by law to do so. Bjørvika has through times first been sea bottom/dump site, then later harbour and workshops/industry

They have started laying the granite tiles to the sidewalk on the street in front of it:

I said it before I say it again: Oslo is currently the place with the most impressive modern developments. Its not just a single project it seems all those seaside projects maintain that high level. I love the great variation of facades.

I think our high end projects are for most parts of high quality even though there are a few buildings I do not care for. However we have huge problems with producing attractive and urban cheaper developments. Our low end market is dominated by a few large players with little competition in between them and there is not enough supply of apartments to support the citys growth, so what they build will be sold no matter how poor they are as long as it is priced relatively reasonable, reducing the need top spend time designing high quality urban high quality urban environments from their point of view. Our politicians on the other hand seems mostly preoccupied with constantly demanding lower density to meet the nimby agenda, and does not appears to have any willingness to demand that the developments adhere to the outspoken desires to create a more urban, denser and more lively city.

I would have loved if all our projects looked like one I just posted above.

Love the look of this building with the wood though. It's almost like it's glowing. I hope the residents plant lots of greeneries on the roof garden too. Will look great!

And they have come further with the sidewalk in front of the row:

The street itself is starting to take shape too:
