Una propuesta para crear una nueva terminal incluye una ciudad aeroportuaria, una terminal central y una terminal satélite que serían capaces de adaptarse en un futuro.

Thanks for posting this. I flew to Mexico City last year and during the approach I figured this empty land East of the current field could be used for a brand new airport.

Will the new airport have a longer runway as I gather that at the current one is too short?

Congratulations Mexico... That's a giant leap forward compared with the current airport...

If the current Mexico City Airport gets redeveloped after the new Mexico City Airport opens, then what should the existing airport's two terminals be converted into?

If an existing major airport is planned to be replaced by a larger major airport, it's always difficult to come up with a new use for the existing airport's terminal building once the existing airport is redeveloped (if the terminal building(s) aren't demolished, of course).

I think to will be demolished and be converted into a park and a new CBD

The rendering above looks like both of the passenger terminal buildings may be retained and everything else in the old airport demolished for the new park and CBD replacing it.

Also, Terminal 2 is a relatively new building (opened 2007) compared to Terminal 1 (opened 1958).
