Wouldn't it be easier to just use this sign:

I could be wrong, but I think that's used a lot more in the world... It would take about 15 seconds before I'd actually understand what that blue sign with the upwards arrow means because I've never ever seen it anywhere before. So basically, the undersign isn't such a bad idea (though it will probably only help Belgians and South-African people ^_^)

EDIT: To explain the text on the undersign better: it literally says "So do not turn right". The "so" shouldn't be added indeed.

Greetings,
Glodenox

I think they should use those signs too, but for some reason they've stopped using them in NL.

In the Brisbane suburb of St Lucia, there's a street named Coleridge St.
But when the bus stop signs were replaced, they misspelt the street as Coldridge St.
Later, when the street name signs were replaced, they also misspelt those as Coldridge St.
And later still, when some additional street name signs arrived, the street was misspelt as Cold Ridge St.

I look forward to driving on Gold Beach St in a few years’ time…

----------

And here’s what you get if you have no imagination when naming roads (also in the suburbs of Brisbane)…

So, are we taking Mount Cotton Road, Mount Cotton Road or... Mount Cotton Road? (In yellow).

Actually, they ended up renaming a 300m stretch of the east-west Mount Cotton Rd to the east of the reservoir bridge to Broadwater Rd, to avoid confusion at the intersection. Google Maps and Live Local incorrectly don’t show this though.

An enjoyable eastbound-to-northbound movement in this one:

The weirdest stuff in Switzerland is when you get a permission to drive 80 km/h just before a sharp turn, or in a steep slope on a narrow local road.

Not possible, this is the same image with the sign rotated 180°, like it would be possible in real life (so not mirrored).

That sign should normally be placed in a situation where there's a smaller street where you have to give priority to the car at the other side... But I can't say it's well positioned there...
