That is the front side, but that piece of the facade on the right-hand side isn't striped at all.

absolutely fabulous pictures. I hope you take some more before it passes you by :-)

It is strange the way they do the cladding - one narrow strip going up rather than having go all the way around or at least cover one full side.

The contrast with Carnegie Tower will be striking.

I confess that I have mixed feelings about the use of random tinted class panels. On the one hand I can see how this will make a 'glassy' structure more interesting and avoid banality, but on the other hand I'm wondering if in time it will just look cheesy and kitschy and dated. What are your views?

It reminds me of the facade of the hideous Xanadu center in Jersey.

One crane isntead of two means slower progress.

Not entirely true, Oil. Floor plates are small compared to other projects like 4WTC, also take into account that this tower is a concrete frame structure, they only need to lift concrete, rebar and construction stuff.

But it still will slow progress quite a bit.... Wont it?
It seems like 2 vs 1 would make a difference however you put it.

Hopefully it will keep its progress :/

In fact, the crane is on the left will be the crane that will rise to the top floor of the building, because this side is that the building will continue to grow. The building does not need more of this crane that is being removed.
