@Dirty, if you wanna accelerate the construction pace then you'll need also to double the number of workers. No worries, as rencharles pointed it out, this tower doesn't need more than one crane.

Yeah, i think cranes can be overrated myself. And are only really good for one purpose. Seeing that they are only as useful as the speed of the workers.

Using the new 37 floor figure I have a new diagram

Roof height used below!

1WTC = 340 meters or 1115 feet out of 418 meters or 1371 feet
4WTC = Approximately 217 meters or 712 feet out of 298 meters or 977 feet Important note: The height of 4WTC shown in the diagram is wrong, I draw it when it was thought that 4WTC already has steel for the first two setback floors! This was later shown to not be true but I already edited the drawing! The height that is stated here (below the diagram) is the right one!
1 57 = Approximately 153 meters or 502 feet out of 306 meters or 1005 feet

(Note: I used the 418 meter figure for 1WTC when measured from the lowest above ground entrance and I used the 298 meter figure for 4WTC.)

When it rises above Essex House, it will become much more visible from the park.

What are your views?
It also reminds me of Nouvel's project at 100 11th Ave. I personally think it looks good and is a viable way to liven up an otherwise visually uninteresting expanse of glass. However, I also wonder how this look will age... It looks very modern and current in 2011, which could well mean that it will look dated 20 years from now.

Yeah that's right across the street from where I used to work. I think it's much more appealing to look at than the one next to it (on the right).

In that render it is beautiful Except for the glass above the two entrances. Glass lines are OK but chaotic glass is ugly

De Portzamparc was inspired in water cascades.

I think so, but here it is smaller and vertical. But I think that if they make so many details, there are also ugly spots.
The Citicorp Center in Chicago is a nice example:
