Here, ignore the 72nd labbel and replace it with a "90th".

I'm sorry but I just really disagree with people using nasty words against other people. But I didn't mean any insult towards you. Sometimes a nasty word just comes out automaticaly, I understand that and please forgive me if my previous post was unfair to you.

With the image from Otie (4 posts above) and the recent press release by Extell (located here), I think we can lay the floor numbering discussion to rest once and for all. In the diagram, the residential floors are 22-72. In the Extell press release, they state "The condominiums will begin on floor 39 and culminates on floor 90." So, they are going to simply add 17 to the real floor number (22-72) to get the labeled floor number (39-89). There is a difference of one floor (top floor is 89 vs. 90), but I think it is close enough that we can all agree that this is more or less what is going on.

I think it is perfectly reasonable to ask this question about the discrepancy between labeled and actual floor numbers. I hope the question is now answered to everyone's satisfaction.

Otie, what floor in that great diagram are they on now?

In the renders like the one below I am amazed how this structure towers over its neighbors on the south side of 57th street. Those are tall buildings themselves. Lets see if it really looks this way or if the renders exagerate it.

BTW, I have to say that 57th Street is finally becoming a tall street and will definitely be one once the 250 West 57th building goes up.

Great find, Robert! I had not seen that photo before... Two more from the Extell website:

That pool is sensational... I think it's nicer than the ones at 15 Central Park West and 15 Union Square West, my two other favorites in the city!

Great info there, I'll update my 3D model and produce a better diagram (the one posted above is more than a half-year old), this time with the new floor numbering.

Judging by your fantastic update, above 47 (old floor numbering).

Hey folks, I have a new diagram which marks the recent progress

Roof height used below!

1WTC = 347 meters or 1138 feet out of 418 meters or 1371 feet
4WTC = Approximately 227 meters or 745 feet out of 298 meters or 977 feet
157 = 184 meters or 605 feet out of 306 meters or 1005 feet

(Note: I used the 418 meter figure for 1WTC when measured from the lowest above ground
entrance and I used the 298 meter figure for 4WTC.)

It's not exaggerated. One57 will be 248 ft. taller than Carnegie Hall Tower, which in turn is 41 ft. taller than Metropolitan Tower. That means One57 is nearly 1/3 taller than its tallest neighbor on the south side of 57th.

Yes, it will be nice. But no one will see it from that vantage point unless they are in a helicopter.

But the Trump Hotel may have a nice view and some homes along CPW.
