Looks like they've modified the floor schedule... Dino, what floors are now mechanical? 19 & 49?
I just checked..Nothing changed to the floor schedule..It's still the same as it was..Mechanical floors on 19th and 47th floors..

There is one earlier version with mechanical on 46th floor, but it was replaced with newer one which is actual now..

great tower. i think i must go to nyc this autumn . <3

i think the facade isn't that bad, let's wait until we see it finished before we make prejudices. The plastic film has a cool look but maybe it would look too coulurful and strange in the skyline compared to other towers.

when can we expect to see the next setback construction? takes quite long in the last few weeks, i can't see much progress.

Just "unwrapping" / stripping the plastic off of this building is going to be a big task! Looks great!

Well, everybody knows that the mechanic is on the floor 20. Counting from the ground up.
If in doubt, just see pictures that show the building from the ground.
After the floor 20, I just did a count up to level 50 (I stopped at 50, but I know it is at floor 52).

It's very simple. Just you go in front of the building and count the floors.

Then everyone knows wrong..
Look at the link I posted again..

1st floor:

HOTEL LOBBY
RESIDENTIAL LOBBY, MAIL ROOM, VALET OFFICE, PACKAGE ROOM
LOADING BERTH, ACCESSORY PARKING GARAGE.
RETAIL STORES

2nd Floor:

HOTEL LOUNGE
MEETING ROOMS
KITCHEN
BALLROOM
STORAGE ROOMS

3rd floor:

RESTAURANT & LOUNGE
HOTEL LOUNGE AND BAR
KITCHEN
ACCESSORY OFFICE
MECHANICAL ROOM

Floor called MZ3 (floor between 3rd and 4th):

MECHANICAL ROOM

4th floor:

GENERATOR ROOM, MECHANICAL ROOMS
HOTEL ROOMS
STORAGE ROOM

Because of that mezzanine floor (Labeled MZ3), mechanical floor we're talking about, which is actually on the 19th floor, looks like it's on the 20th..

Here is what mezzanine floor means for those who don't know:

"In architecture, a mezzanine or entresol is an intermediate floor between main floors of a building, and therefore typically not counted among the overall floors of a building."

I'm gonna repeat now, I won't say something I don't have proof for..

Not from the crane..Cranes are still shorter than Carnegie tower..This will be view from top floors..I remember some time ago, there was crew with weather balloon and cameras..They take pictures from any height owner wants so he can promote his building and offer views to the potential customers..
