One57 is now taller than Trump Tower, the Barclay Tower, Paramount Plaza, the Lincoln Building, Four Seasons Hotel, and the Solow Building, as well as every non-Manhattan building of NYC. This puts it as the 40th tallest skyscraper in NYC.

Judging by the latest photos, 200m doesn't mean shit in Manhattan. One really needs to build a supertall in those super dense areas of Midtown and Downtown so people can take notice of a new tower.

Notice bedroom 6 is the only bedroom on the lower level of the penthouse. That is the butler/servant's bedroom. They will be the ones retrieving your meals, these people do not prepare food themselves....They are buying an apartment that costs 90 million US dollars, after all.

Also keep in mind people who buy this could all too easily take one of the rooms and put a kitchen into to make them have two.

Did someone say earlier that this would not have a core? Or at least a conventional core? Looks like a nice sturdy core to me in that floorplan.

Only elevator shaft with solid walls..Looks like core but it's only a regular wall on regular floor with regular concrete..

The core is usually the center of building which holds everything and it's the main part of the structure..Which is not the case here..You can see other thick walls which all serve to hold floor together..

4WTC = Approximately 244 meters or 801 feet out of 298 meters or 977 feet
157 = 211 meters or 691 feet out of 306 meters or 1005 feet

(Note: I used the 418 meter figure for 1WTC when measured from the lowest above ground entrance and I used the 298 meter figure for 4WTC.)
Great Diagram.

Glad to see New York back in the supertall race amidst fierce competition from Chinese cities. Way to go!

NY is not in the supertall race. It just so happens that at the moment there's an über-demand for (luxury) residential towers which tend to be supertalls. So yeah, NY is not in competition to any city, 'cause this city builds solely out of demand. If you think about it, this actually shows how "healthy" and popular NY is.

Seems so. It leaves out most of the smaller buidlings with huge spires.

I know it's a couple months old now, but I thought I would post another New Year's fireworks photo including One57 since I finally got it up on my flickr.

There's more (some with One57) on my site:
