This building is just so massive from central park. Gonna look so awesome in the bright and blue summer months.

Seven visible floors above the mechanical floor now. This thing really is like clock work:

And what do folks think, one or two more floors until is surpasses its neighbor on the south side of 57th Street:

BTW, no visible progress on the cladding. In fact, there hasn't been for about 2 or 3 weeks now.

So slender in that last one. And still a lot of floors to go.

That's how healthy people dress when they go out for a run, jog, or walk.

That is correct.

They are New York yuppies going to/coming from jogging in Central Park. This was early on a Sunday AM and that is who you see at that time.

Further, New York is a very transient population, especially whites in Manhattan. I suspect none of the people in the picture were raised in New York City and most have probably not lived there that long.

All the Dutch New Yorkers are long since dead and gone except for the occasional Dutch tourist who comes to visit.

wow, I like that angle. Its not one I've often seen. From that angle One57 really complements rather than blocks the buildings south of 57th Street.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the pics. I really like the red color of the unfinished construction. Suits well to Central Park.

They aren't yuppies haha, they're people who want to get fit and stay fit. I always walk through central park and see businessmen.

Nice to see it from that side. If the setback is to occur, you would see it from here.
