Ok it looks like I am just feeding a troll here so I'll limit this to a final rebutal.

599GTB said "51.6% is a majority so most people in that zip code have a car."

According to the report that you linked to there are 14,455 households in that zip code. Of those 8,574 do NOT have a car. That is 59.349% do NOT have a car - ie, most people in that area do not have cars, precisely as I said and the precise opposite of what you said.

I am done with this. Feel free to troll somewhere else.

I didn't look at renter-occupied units. Rich people don't rent, they own. And over 51% of homeowners (obviously wealthy) in 10022 own cars. There are no rentals in One57. You posted median household value stats a few days to make the case for the "wealthy" general Upper East Side and now you're backtracking and lumping renters in with owners to whom those high median household values would apply to. Home owners in Manhattan are much richer than the average, and especially one owning a home in 10022. The richer you are, the more likely you'll be to own a car and that's that.

And you're not done, you'll be back...

I can't believe how long this arguement has gone on for... all starting from someone worrying that there wouldn't be enough car spaces.

This Building is beautiful in renders! My favourite part of it is the bumpy glass facade at the bottom.

Interesting. I had thought the different colored windows on the sides of the tower were randomly arranged. However it now looks like there is a repeating pattern. Is that correct?

Yes, there's definitely a repeating pattern on the side. I thought that the colours were just protective strips which would be removed, doesn't seem to be the case if they go to the trouble of designing and installing the said repeating pattern.

Article about the effects of One57 construction on the views at Metropolitan Tower:
http://therealdeal.com/blog/2012/05/...-versus-one57/

B and C line apartments still have decent park views, since they face diagonally northeast over the park. The A line, though, which is at the "point" of Met Tower's triangular design, is pretty screwed. But they still have views over the Hudson into Jersey... so that's something.
